At Sammy + Nat, every gift carries a story. Founder Samantha created Sammy + Nat in honor of her and her sister’s mother, Nancy, a beloved midwife affectionately known as the “Midwife off Madison.” Samantha remembers her mom coming home from work, sharing stories about the babies she delivered that day. She was a woman of style and heart—even in scrubs, she would pair beautiful earrings with designer shoes, her wild brown hair always perfectly her own.

Years later, inspired by her mother's legacy of care and style, Samantha left her job at a major fashion house in New York City to create Sammy + Nat—a baby and child collection that embodies both comfort and timeless elegance. The name itself is a tribute to their mother, who always called them her two favorite babies.

Now that Samantha is a mom herself, she understands more than ever what makes the perfect baby gift.
